These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Furaha, the SME management platform operated by Furaha Ltd ("Furaha", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The service
Furaha provides software to manage sales, inventory, expenses, customers, reports and multiple branches for small and medium-sized businesses in Tanzania. We may add, change or remove features at any time to keep the service reliable and useful.
2. Accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old and authorised to bind your business.
- Provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
3. Free trial
New customers receive a 1 month free trial. You will not be charged during the trial. At the end of the trial, your subscription begins automatically at Tsh 10,000 per branch per month — or Tsh 108,000 per branch per year if you choose annual billing — unless you cancel from inside your account.
4. Subscription & payment
- The subscription fee is Tsh 10,000 per branch per month, billed in advance. Two branches is Tsh 20,000 per month, three is Tsh 30,000, and so on.
- You may instead choose annual billing at Tsh 108,000 per branch per year — a 10% saving over the monthly rate — charged once in advance for the year.
- Payment is processed through our supported providers.
- Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
- We will give at least 30 days' notice before any price change.
5. Cancellation
You can cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. After cancellation you have 90 days to export or restore your data before it is permanently deleted.
6. Your data
You own the business data you put into Furaha. You grant us a limited licence to host, process and back up that data solely to provide the service. Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.
7. Acceptable use
- Do not use Furaha for any illegal activity or to infringe others' rights.
- Do not attempt to reverse-engineer, resell or disrupt the service.
- Do not upload malware, spam or content you do not have the right to use.
8. Service availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Furaha includes an offline mode so you can continue selling during short connectivity issues. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance where possible.
9. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, Furaha disclaims all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. You are responsible for your tax, accounting and regulatory compliance.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Furaha's total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or your use of the service is limited to the fees you paid to Furaha in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
11. Termination by us
We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, fail to pay, or use the service in a way that risks harm to other users or to Furaha. Where possible we will give you notice and an opportunity to cure.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be submitted to the courts of Tanzania.
13. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of Furaha after that date means you accept the updated Terms.
